Not for the faint of heart is right, a headgasket on one of those is a true PITA! I've been unfortunate enough to do two in the past two months, both had ALOT of bent valves. If the price comes down I may have to pick this up

You probably did a 1.8T, those have 20 valves and 12 normally need changing. I am not sure about the 2.0...but easiest would be to just get a bolt on head. Those are $200-300, ready to bolt on. Feel free to PM an offer, worse I can do is say no...and laugh if you offer me something silly like 1k.

your completely correct, they were 1.8 turbos.... Not sure how I managed to foul up that! Im sure this would be MUCH easier
