i have a cousin back home that has an imported gsr motor in his 97 hatchback civic, from what i understand and have seen everything that came in the crate was to japaneese specification. he has done alot of work from what i have understood, alot of mugen aftermarket stuff everywhere. he claims steady and high 11's all motor no happy gas. didnt have the chance to race him but does those times sound right????

i dont think so in stock 97 hatch, weighs to much..and not unless that head is P&P and the motor is bored some...maybe he just sucks at his life and runs 11's in the 1/8th?

Damn, you could buy a lot of turbo kits for the $$$ it would take to run 11s with an all motor GSR in a 97..

built it throw it in a gutted EG and you can run 11s..or just throw some piston and rods and boost it....

 

stock gsr in an eg runs 11's
