heres how i got dicked, timeline style.


june 2003, i place order at gloucester toyota for a scion, they tell me i can have it in november. they call in october and say, "oops we ment january"

nov 3002, on friday i went to RK toyota to buy the scion they have on the lot for 15,000. they say they have to approve my financing overnight and they will call in the morning.

saturday they never call, so i called them and they said i was approved for financing, but that they were rasing the price of the car to 22,000 because they are hot commodity. so i tell them no. they told me that if i ordered one now, and paid 1,000 to have it shipped i can get it in 3 weeks.

so monday i call them and tell them im coming down to place my order and they say that they messed up, and that if i order it i wont get it untill february 25th. then they call back and say i can have the one on the lot for 18,000.

i called them today, tuesday, to say ok and that im coming to get it. and they call me back and say my credit wasnt approved, and that i need someone to cosign. i told them i have no one to cosign, and they said if no one cosigns then i will have to pay 22,000.


THAT IS BULLSHIT.
i have spent tons of money on parts for the damn car and i dont have one yet. anyone know where i can get one the quickest?

exactly. i can get a brand new one, fully loaded delivered to my door for less then that.

i have every toyota dealer within 100 miles workin up estimates right now for me. im going to buy it from whoever can get it the quickest, for uner 19,000

denbigh toyota told me they cant have me in one untill feb. im tyring to get them pull some strings and order me one now.

 

i was trying to trade in my V6 camaro for a Z28 and to make a long story short they completely fucked things up, i had a Z28 for a month, had to give it back cause theyre dumbasses and then they had the audasity to ask if i wanted a new V6 camaro....lets see...i was driving a 1999 Camaro and this was the summer of 2000...i had a new camaro! i wanted a V8! stupid fucks. all chevy dealerships are crooked and are all about profit, which is why the camaro/firebirds went away after the 2002 model year

 

glouster toyota seemed pretty cool when we stopped to look at the scion, they guy opend it up started it up cranked the system for us ...

 

yea the guy at gloucester was good to me, he let me take it for a spin, but they cant get the new cars untill feb either.

RK called me back and said if i did a 10,000 dollar down payment that they would sell it to me for 16,000.



i cant believe they want that much down payment on a used car, and with my trade in of my 88 cougar with new motor.

 

dealerships are a joke unless youve got the money to say youre getting what you want, when you want it, no matter how much it costs. i used to go by casey all the time for random little parts but their prices are absolutely ridiculous. now i order from gmpartsdirect.com or head down to hutchens to see BLUBYU because hes about the only straight forward guy ive met working at a dealership so far. sorry to hear about all the bullshit
