Basically all you need is a valid drivers license, and a car that will pass tech. If you're running your street car you shouldn't have any problems with that. Sign up!

I can't wait! Been far too long. Got all prepped; fresh tires, new spark plugs, even reading the Skip Barber book. Now all I need is to not be slow...
It's fun, you'll love it! The tech inspection will basically make sure that your is safe to run; before you come, make sure your battery is securely fastened down, your brakes are good and your tires aren't showing any cords. You'll need to clean your car entirely out; you can do it on race day, but probably easiest to do this at home. Even the floormats need to come out, lest they slide up under your brake pedal during hard maneuvering.
When you arrive at ACU4, sign for a wristband at the gate, and then go to registration in the small building right as you come in. They'll give you a card to take to tech. Find a parking spot- just park where everyone else is parking and prep your car. (If you see tires and a pile of stuff there, that spot's probably taken and the car's either in tech or grid.) Put your # on the side of your car in painter's tape, clean it out, and go to tech. They have tape in tech if you need.
When that's done, walk the course to memorize it. They'll have a formal novice walk-through, too, but the more you walk it, the easier it will be to stay on course later. Ask anyone you see for help, it's a very friendly group. If you say the magic words "this is my first time here", you'll probably have more help than you need The club has loaner helmets by the TSCC trailer (grab one right before your heat) and I think will be assigning instructors to ride along again this season.
