Default Ground Control Coil-Overs

Hey guys...I just recently got into autocrossing and I'm going to do suspension (coil overs and shocks) to my 89 Civic Si. I've been told that Ground Control is the way to go. Also, I'm trying to decide between Tokico Illumina shocks and KYB Agx shocks...any suggestions??
Thanks!!

Agree with Koni recommendation for autocross. Better quality internals/craftsmanship, better valving, and can be custom-valved/rebuilt/shortened if needed right here in the US.

I'd agree with the koni's, but out of the two choices you gave, i'd go with the agx's. Now its time to decide on spring rates

Hey,
Thanks a lot for the responses! I'm putting serious consideration into the Koni's now... If I do go with Koni's, do I want the yellow sport shocks? And how easy are these to adjust because that's a big concern of mine...I know KYBs are very easy to adjust and the illuminas are fairly easy to adjust as well... What are other people's experiences with Koni's, KYB's, and Tokico's...
Also what about Bilstein shocks?? Anyone have an experience with those? haha I need all the help I can get!!
Thanks.

If you're going with GC's, it wouldn't hurt to send them an email describing your intentions, that way you can perhaps get a good reference for what they reccommend by way of shocks and spring rates.

Koni REDs are better I tried both REDs and YELLOWs on my EK w/ SKUNKS and I liked the REDs way better.

yellows are shorter and valved different...which is better will depend on spring rates...
for 400lb+ springs the reds will be underdampened
