02 Ninja headlight problems
Weeeeelllll, I sold my 2002 Kawasaki Ninja 250. On the way to meet the buyer I stopped by a friends. I come back outside and start the bike but no headlight, high or low beam.
Do these bikes have this issue or is it just my bike?
Is there one bulb or two? If two I doubt they would both go at the same time, unless thata how they are wired
Im guessing its not the bulb bc when I flip the switch to high beam, the indicator doesnt light.
Im wondering if there is a fuse, relay, wire problem, or the switch goes out?????
I sold the bike but I am going to get this problem straight. I cant look it all over right now and I may not have the correct tools when I go check it out. Please let me know where I should start.
Thanks, Roy
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

Re: 02 Ninja headlight problems
You can probly find your answer here http://forums.ninja250.org/
I had a Ninja 500 and it only used one single buld for the high/low. And checking the fuses is pretty easy. On my 500, all you had to do is lift the seat up and it would be near the battery under a black rectnagle cap. Not sure how comparable the 2 bikes are, I figured at least a little. None-the-less check that 250 website.

Cool thanks. Im guessin its the fuse.
Now I wont have to go over not knowing. I thought I would have to take it all apart and dig around for the fuse

Re: 02 Ninja headlight problems
alot of kawi's also have a relay that won't let the headlight turn on until the bike is running, or has at least turned over a lil bit, might want to check that relay also, if applicable.

Plus one, I've got an 07 250, the relay for whatever reason took a crap on me. Let us know if you got it working. Tell the kid who bought it ninja250.org is a gift from God. It has everything imaginable on there...everything you need and then some.
