eacv problems maybe?
Hey i have a 1994 honda civic with a z6 swap in it. The problem is when i accelerate it will start to jerk or hesitate at around 1500 to 2000 rpms. The check engine light is on for the eacv. I might know where that is located but im not completely sure. This is the first time i have had this problem. Should i just clean it or what. If yall have answers that would be great. Thanks

I think you're talking about an IACV. And no, it won't cause jerking, because it's only function is to bypass air across the throttle plate in order to regulate idle. The amount of air it can actually flow is nowhere near enough to cause off-idle drivability problems. It's more likely you have a problem with your MAP, TPS, or O2 sensor.

If you have an IACV check engine light (EACV is the same thing by a different name), you have an IACV problem. That's not going to be the problem with the jerking, etc., but you should get the IACV fixed also because that can cause idling problems and other things.
Actually, check really carefully to see what's plugged into what. I think I remember that there are two plugs which can be plugged into each others locations, so the plugs may be swapped. I can't remember which two plugs that is, but it's worth double checking everything just for good measure.

alright the iacv has 2 plugs on the bottom of it which connect to hoses. ill check and make sure those arent swapped. If not then its most likely the tps. Ill have to look into it i never fixed a tps problem. Thanks
