i can kinda guess the answer to this, but i just got a ticket out of date inspection, but im pretty sure im selling the car next weekend. Will that get the ticket dismissed? if i go to court and say i dont even have the car anymore? i would think not but i thought i might get lucky.

the pink slip would mean you have a valid inpsection.

fix it, then sell the car if you want the ticket dismissed. or just pay the fine.

 

in PA we call them 'fix it' tickets if when u fix it u can get it dismissed. but since ur sellin it ull prolly have to take that hit

yeah i figured that, but does that make it a "fix it ticket"? so basically theres no way out of it other than just getting it inspected. that sucks. i mean it makes sense and thats what i expected but that just irks me.
