I just used the small cutting disks, you might go through a lot, and it might take awhile but you can get it done.

then to make it with smooth round edges, i used that thing that looks like a drill bit?..and rolled that around the edges and cleaned them up

my way will take me longer to get the tool out than it will to cut it....straight at that!

plus, why would you want to cut it? really, how often do you think that you are going to need to adjust your cam gears. yes, it will be benefit you 1 or how ever many times you might need it to tune, but thats about it, right?...oh and then some ricers want to look cool cause "cam gears will make you run 10's!"
If you cut it then you have a larger chance of something getting to your belt and causing the belt to rip/tear/whatever.

I takes what, 5-10 minutes to take off the valve cover?

just some ideas...I'll still do it for you if you want...your choice!
