Are these catalytic converters legal??
I'm building my own exhaust and these cats would be the perfect solution for the tight space I have.

They do have the reactive core (it's not a hollow imposter) and the listing says that it is 48 state legal but you know things go on ebay. Just want to make sure I don't have any issues when inspection time comes. The car was built in 1990 so it's pre obdII.
Maybe a auto tech could chime in....

The best thing to do would be to call the state troopers and talk to a inspection rep and ask them. i could look in the book but its not going to say anything about it. I would say yes, It also depends on what part of virginia your in and if there is emissions test or not.

Thanks guy's. I'll go ahead and buy these and just put a v-band at one end for quick inspection if a question comes up during inspection.
BTW, I'm in richmond, VA so the emissions inspections are kind of laxed compared to NOVA.
