I am the second owner of the jeep. It has a brush guard on the front with two Hella Offroad lights wired to the stock fog light switch. The wheels are TJ canyon wheels (15x8) with 31x10.5 highway tires. I kept the stock roof rack rails but also added some Yakima round tube rails. Other than that it is an unmolested stock 2dr cherokee. It hasnt been taken in the mud, just down to the beach at nags head. I have other parts that can go with it if I get near the price I would like (extra 4.0L, 15x8 chrome rims, XJ Dana35 (3.55s), YJ Dana30 (4.10s))

Yes its 4WD. It has the stock Dana 30/Dana 35 combo with the NP231 transfer case. All the fluids have been changed not too long ago by the previous owner. It was on the CARFAX that I got with it. Due to the 5 speed transmission it does have 3.07 gears which are considered highway gears. With those gears and 31s I did manage to make about 19 mpg mixed driving on a recent trip.

 

Thanks for the info - with 172k on the clock, any engine work done? What about the clutch? AC? Does it work?

 

The clutch pedal feels great. AC blows real cold and the heat blows real hot. No engine work has been done, just maintenance. I have to see if I can find where I put the carfax that I had for it to see if the timing chain was done or not, but it does not make any noise so thats a good sign. These 4.0L are usually good for well over 300k on the odometer.
