gt35r on B18A1
I am new to fi, I have a 92 integra with 50k on b18a1 engine and hydro trans. I am looking to turbo on NO budget. I have found a gt35r turbo(perfect cond), full race manifold(needs 1 weld), wastegate, dumptube, downpipe, and half radiator(off stock something) set up along with flanges and stuff for $475. Can I run that gt35r on my da? Please lmk. If not whats best bet for getting something else... Everytime I pm/text someone about a t3/t4 or kit its either been sold or they want a ridiculous price. Please lmk asap

A standard T3/T04E 57 trim turbo will fit your bill nicely. You can always sell the 35R. In the meantime, I suggest you save your dough up for a Walbro 255 pump, some good engine management and money for a good dyno tune. Don't rush it, and most importantly, don't skimp out on the latter.

The GT-35R is a really nice unit, but a bit big for what you're trying to do. It's not a "ski jump powerband" turbo, per se, but there are other turbos out there that will get you within the whp limits of a stock B18A1 with less lag.

What type of manifold? i have a gt35r on my ls motor. My motors built for boost and that turbos just barley warming up you'd be better off getting a smaller turbo. The gt35r is a great turbo by all mean just probably a little to much for a stock ls motor. depending on the manifold it may not fit i had to reverse the flange and remove my a/c and p/s for mine to fit.

Try to get some pictures of the stuff that you are looking at. For under 500 for a complete kit sounds like a good deal if its non ebay stuff. With the Full-Race manifold if its really a full-race manifold I would think that they would fix it for free.
I agree that the 35r is a little big for a street car. I have a T4/T67 on my street can and I do not see full boost until 5500.

Im pretty sure its knock off's if he's getting it all for that cheap probably some godspeed mess. If you are looking for a good street turbo get the FP td05h 20G thats T3 it can be bought for less then $600 brand new and spools very nice for the street and flows pretty damn good and its a mitsu turbo which are very reliable.

I know it says its for a dsm but dsm's dont have t3 flanges unless we use a t3 manifold. I gaurentee you wont be disappointed with this turbo.

^Agreed.
I know you said you would like to build it on no budget, but you should save some cash and get some quality parts (turbo, injectors, engine management, and some dyno time) instead of splurging on something you will just have to replace later. I've got a turbo for sale..
