Installing Remote Start in 00 Civic. When i try the remote start, it turns the motor over, but doesn't start. All remote start wires are connected to harnesses right before fuse Block. It will start though if the key is on the run position. Please help.!! Im if you have info that could help.

 

I'm guessing five speed, if so then you need to wire the neutral safety switch to the e-brake or a separate switch. HTH

 

probably has an electronic thing on it that you can only start the car with the key??? I dont know if honda ever used that but you need a bypass module if so.

 

There is one wire that you need to hook up to the tach signal wire coming from your dist. u can hook it in where the ecu is but not sure what color it is. You can ask Chahonda what color wire it is.

 

sounds like if you tapped the wrong ignition wire. there are two ignition wires one is yellow and the other is black w/yellow stripe
