New dyno numbers!
Got back from a big dyno day in Charlotte, NC (I'm at my parents' in Greensboro). My car made 371.4 rwhp and 374 rwtq SAE corrected with no tuning! The Kooks LT headers and cats have me 28 rwhp and 32 rwtq over my last pull. Since my last pull 343 rwhp and 342 tq, I've had the re-ring, NKG TR-55 plugs and I threw on some Borla straight pipes last night! They don't give any power over my Stingers, but they're crazy loud, too loud... they're for sale! I'm putting the stingers back on tonight. They sound amazing at WOT but that's not worth having headaches from resonance the other 99% of the time. I love loud, but these are too much even for me. Anyway, I'm very happy with the gains from the LT heaers.
BTW this is all un-tuned. My AFR was holding steady at 11.5/1 so it needs to be leaned out about a full point... there's 10-15 rwhp left in the car with tuning.
I took it all on video so when I get back to Va Beach I'll have MerF host it. Oh yeah my numbers were nothing compared to some of the others. One was a 383 with h/c and a 200 shot! Another was a '98 c5 with h/c and an ATI procharger!

I added the dyno graph. Jay 400 rwhp with just bolt-ons gets very very expensive for that last 15 horsepower. With tuning I should be mid 380's... to get to 400 I'd need to remove the cats ($300 for a new center section), get an electric water pump ($800 I think) F.A.S.T. inkat manifold with 90mm TB ($1500). All that might budge my peak numbers over 400 but it gets wicked expensive. I'm going to tune it and save up for a nice cam package down the road.
Damn Brian, and I can't wait just to put my SLP LT's on.
I definately can't wait to hear and see your car though. Hopefully, I will be able to afford some new mods too when I get back.
