sound system
my 94 civic came with an old alpine, but when i went to take it out and put my pioneer in it the deck didnt work. So then i tryed putting the alpine back in and it too doesnt work. I tryed cutting everything up to the relay and hard wiring both the decks and nothing is still working, so if anyone knows what the problem is with my 94 ex please let me know.

Re: sound system
you have no power and probly a bad ground , check your fuse from where ever your pulling the power from . or get a volt meter and check your - and postive connections. btw is your constant wire hooked up?

Re: sound system
You probably shorted the constant power wire to dash frame and blew the fuse. If it worked before and it doesn't work now, it's going to be something really simple and really easy to find.

Re: sound system
well i checked all my fuses and there good, but i took it to my old shop and took a test light to it and onyl one wire is getting power and it only gets power when the car is on, so my acc is not getting power at all. And my grounds are all good

no that is your accessory...you dont have constant. does your dome light still work? how about your door chime? check those fuses if not

Re: sound system
YOU NEED A DAMN WIRING DIAGRAM FOR YOUR DAMN CAR. TRACING OUT YOUR WIRES WILL TELL YOU WHICH FUSE IS BAD.
AND... A FUSE CAN LOOK ABSOLUTELY FREAKING NORMAL AND STILL BE BLOWN.

Re: sound system
sooooo you still have an issue. and if you have power when the car is on and no power when its not, then that is your switched/accessory power. not your constant. constant is just that, a constant source of power. if all else fails you can run a FUSED wire to your ignition harness but youre better off figuring what is wrong with that other one first
