Default Computer guys - need help!

We just switched to DSL last night and I can't get the computer in my room to connect. Can anyone swing by and give me a hand? Give me a call on my cell (PM me if you don't have the #).

I'm stuck in the office today and leaving tomorrow evening for the weekend. What equipment do you have connected? Your computer is not connected into the DSL modem, correct, since your other computer is connected to the router? Are you currently connected (and writing your post) from school?

Are you connecting PPPOE? (you have to start the connection yourself)

Are you on a router? Is the router setup? (if not goto http://192.168.1.1)

It's just that my IP has changed now and I need to get the other computer setup for the new modem. The two computers are networked together and all fine, I just need to get the one setup to connect to the net through the new modem.
