does anyone know where i can get my rim fixed? and how much it would cost me
there is a place locally i cant remember the name but i think it is craft machine shop. i overheard this guy talkin to a fella at treadquarters he had the same problem i heard him say to take it there i thought this rim was dead.....bent badly but i think he said to take it to craft machine shop i dunno you will have to call treadquarters on warwick in denbigh ask the guy if he fixes bent rims and he will direct you on where to go. i would remember but it was so long ago........
ive heard that the only way to fix the rims is to heat them up and bend them back to place, but the problem with that is that the rim looses tensil strength and can crack and break off on the part that was fixed. rims are made by compressing melted metal to like 1000's of psi or sumthin and letting them cool, so the only way to fix it the right way would be to find a place that has the mold and heat it up and recompress the rim
