Basically I know alot of shops come and go...i have a 13 accord coupe with some eibach springs to put on..i want to find a good shop that knows what they doing. .can anyone recommend anyone near fredericksburg?

 

You do know the dealership can put them on right?

 

Ya I know about every automotive shop will do them..but I would like to go to a place where they perform that work alot..i Googled this already but haven't found much performance /tuner shops in or very near fredericksburg?

 

I may end up at dealer but didn't want to pay fortune..so is anyone aware of any good shop in fredericksburg specifically?

OP, your best bet is to call around to local shops and get labor rates. Lowering springs install the same as if they had to change a strut out on a car, so just have them give you the hourly rate and then a quote for how long the job will take. Get an alignment afterwards, stuff is gonna get moved around and you don't want to burn through tires.

 

It's a legitimate question yes, I think what has us puzzled is why he's so particular about a shop having experience with something this common. I assume he's new to auto mods but like you stated its pretty routine and he will need an alignment after.

Fair warning OP, springs ride like a super ball in a paint shaker. Research your parts to see what works well with your car. I've never ridden in Any car lowered on springs that didn't bounce like a fat girls ass in size two jeans at the club.

Tuna At CWB does this kind of thing all day long. Great shop, good prices and he works on most of the high end cars in the area (not uncommon to see a Lambo / AMG / Bentley in the shop) and that should say something.
