2006 MKV GTI auto-x car......$8,000
Name: Nick
Location: VA Beach
Means of contact: Text 757-512-4196
Price: $ 8,000
Description: I bought this car about 2 years ago and it has been an awesome car. The guy I bought it from was one of those guys who lowers his car as low as he can, and lets just say I'm glad I saved this car from him. The car for me has been mostly used for Auto-x and it does amazing. I have yet to be beaten by another VW and on a good day can hang with most Miatas. I've sorted the car out and have replaced and upgraded it to handle very well, and be a very functional daily driver.
The Good:
-New timing belt and water pump done at 99,000 miles
-New valve cover gasket and spark plugs
-New fuel cam lobe
-Koni yellows with H&R race springs
-ECS tuning stainless steel brake lines
-ECS tuning slotted brake rotors
-EBC red stuff brake pads
-Dunlop direzza zll tires, 2 are brand new, the other 2 have plenty of life left
-Catless 3" down pipe and deleted resonator, car sounds good, but gurgles and pops under deceleration.
-Forge short shifter
-ECS tuning subframe spacer kit
-Neuspeed cold air intake
-Some brand of after market diverter valve, sounds good
-Eurojet turbo inlet pipe
-BSH PCV delete kit
-Jetta front end
-South bend boost gauge
-after market radio (not an audio guy so don't ask me about it haha)
-current and good inspection sticker
* Car has all supporting mods to be flashed to stage 2*
The BAD:
- paint around fenders is worn due to how low the previous owner lowered it
- check engine light is on due to the deleted CAT.
Everything on the car functions as it should, and it's a very comfortable to drive and very fun in the twisties. I'm about to have my first child, wont have time to auto-x this season so I really have to need for it.
