just wait... not trying to sound like mr. popular but since i started riding my cell phone is now full(holds like 150 names) and i've met so many people i have to make their names "Chris Blue R1" in my phone book to remember who is who
i'm not afraid to walk up to a total stranger if they are on a bike and ask if they want to go ride around, also find out where some of the local hang out or meet spots are where you live for riders, go to some dealers and talk to the guys... its definetly a brotherhood once you get in

I live in Alexandria, and I bought a 04 black ZX-10r. Yeah the other day I went up to some guy on a yamaha and just started talking. Meeting and talking to strangers on bikes is easy.
