does anyone up here know where I can get an aftermarket upper grill insert(preferably mesh) for my sisters 02 jetta. Her's fell off and she needs one asap.

Well while we're on the topic. My g/f just bought an 04 Golf and she likes the grill that looks like the stock one without the emblem.

Do any of you VW guys know how hard it is to change out? I heard something about taking the whole bumper off, but if that's the case then screw that.

I'm pretty sure Kamai makes a grill like you want. You shouldn't have to take the full bumper off, just the old grill. Don't forget though, there is a "notch" for the vw emblem in the hood, so you have to get one that fills the notch and they can look odd sometime. I'll post a few pics and links for you.
