True story from the 4th of July festivities from one of my cop buddies.

He was arresting a guy for drunk and disorderly in public. They guy pleads, "Hey man, if you're gonna lock me up, you should throw her in jail, too!"

-- "And why is that?"

-- "Cause she's growing marijuana in our apartment!"
