I am reading it tonight for him. My scanner is a quite a bit better than jiffy lubes unless they invested more $$ in theirs.

Car was canned and 3 codes were found. I know it doesnt feel like a misfire, but with the multiple random misfire codes and the catalyst codes, you may wanna check her out.

Light was also reset and we will see if it comes back on. I will scan her again and see what codes she throws, but if you do want to take it in to be looked at, I wont reset the light.

 

What kind of car is it?

 

Looks to be mr2? A scan is a scan the wok. (cool for both of you to offer the guy)unless you guys are taking a/f timinging and every other thing you can from the car to reivew @ a later time. Turbo n/a mods? I would check shit like basic tune up and read the plugs. Maybe just a cat throwing all of them.

 

Thanks Phil. It ran for awhile without CEL, but threw a code shortly after bouncing off the rev limiter for a second. It may have something to do with that. I'm going to unplug the battery, reset the light and run as long as possible without CEL again(ie stop driving shitty) and see what happens. If it comes on again without rev limiter then I'll definitely get it checked out.
