i just got my car back yesterday, with the b16a sirII swap done to it.

yesterday it was ok..today while driving it it was fine, then like 30 minutes later it starts being a little weird. when i press down the gas sometimes it will not just flow through the gear. it will kinda sound like gurgling and kinda stop accerletating for less then a second, and occasionally make a little popping noises, then go. i was just wondering what this could be?

 

Do you have any CEL's? What do the "popping" noises sound like? Are they constant, or only under full throttle?

A few things to look at:
*Timing
*test the TPS sensor
*look at your plugs (gap, color, etc)
*get a tune-up

 

First things first WHO DID THE SWAP?

 

Were did you get the car back from, and why arent you asking them these questions.

 

take it back to who ever put the swap in!

 

Does the car hesitate when this happens? Does it kind of "buck"?

 

yeah, i was wondering, my car bucks in low throttle in first and second, so I would like to see what this is.

 

yes there was bucking. but im glad to say that the problem is fixed.

i took it to the shop, to later find out there was a shortage in the spark plug wires. so i replaced them with msd wires,

glad it was something minor and not really expensive.
