Around 12:30 i had just gottne off 495 and got onto rt.50 east. right as i came off the ramp at the intersection with the light before u approach the ramps for 66 and 495 there was alot of flashing lights. I got up closer and there was6-8 cop cars w/ rt 50 west closed and the aciident reconstruction truck there with the spot light in the air aimed down. There were a couple of cops all walking around taking pics. It was a EG hatch in a light gray primer w/ an exhaust system. I couldn't tell what else it had b/c nothing was intact. The roof was off of it.(i think they used jaws of life) and there were tons of pieces everywhere. The steering wheel and dash had been pushed all the way into the back seat. The only part left in tact was the hatch it self, everything else was in pieces. you would not have been able to even tell it were a civic if u didn't see the hatch. I dont know how anyone would be able to live through an accident like this one.
Did anyone else here about it or see it or know what happened? the guy had to be going REAL fast to do this b/c its only 45 there on rt.50.

 

I was about to head home that way at 12:45 but took a diff. route, prolly go thing i did if it was all blocked off.

yeah, apparently it was a family friend of someone i know, and from what i understand they didn't make it.
