body lift and tires
them bitches sit low, i doubt it.
plus unless you are trying to spend an ass load of money to lengthen the a-arms and put long travel suspention on it for desert racing its not worth it.
problems with your question.
1. its a ranger
2. you want a body lift
3. its 2wd.
i would leave it stock and get something better for wheelin in.

rangers use a twin i beam that year if i recall. i think 98 is when they switched to a full IFS on both the 2&4wd's.
they will fit, i have done them on one before, but they scrubbed a little in the front, i think i had to trim the fender liner or something.
the main question i ask is why

It's not for off-roading obviously but I just wanted a project to work on and a better looking truck. My parents won't let me sell it, so I might as well work with what I have.
here is what you should do... drive the truck.. consider it a blessing, be thankful that you dont have to pay much for it... take this time to save money.... and save your ass off.. then once you are emancipated (spelling) from your parents, you can buy whatever you want.
this is what i did... i drove a 87 dodge turd brown full size van... it was a PIECE, NO girls would ride anywhere with me in it.. she had a leaky manifold, the carb fell off (literally) one day, she had no insulation and was noisy as a son-of-a-gun. but she got me where i needed to go.. oh ya not to mention 9 mpg.
i saved my ass off and bought a 93 4runner and now its on 33 and in 2 weeks will be on 35's with a solid axle and a bunch of other shit.
