Default Accident

Alright, this is it. I just wanted to go out for a while before lunch and come right back. Unfortunately, God had other plans with me today. This is what happened.

I was going up 64W then decided to take the Busch Gardens exit. I normally take the exit going about 80mph, but today I decided to go 100. Why? I don't know. I felt like a hero, I don't know. Anyways, I hit a patch of gravel and felt the bike lowside. Next thing I know I'm sliding in the grass and my bike laying it's side. I was wearing my helmet, leather jacket, gloves, jeans, and boots. I do have a few cuts and bruises that still hurt a bit. The main one is on my left thumb; it's a hole that a piece of rice can fit in.

Anyways, I thank God I am still here, my wife is expecting our first baby in December. I'll keep y'all updated as I get more info...

Sorry to hear, but glad you're ok. Not trying to preach but maybe you should take it easy on the streets, esp with a child on the way

That's how it usually happens. You start getting comfortable and then push it further than you should.

Sorry to hear about the accident and glad you are here to talk about it! I've never been in a 100mph accident before but I know that 30mph accidents hurt like hell! I hope the bike is still salvagable with a lot of grass stains instead of concrete marks.
