Default 5'1 Can I ride?

Just as the title says. Would I be able to ride a 600? I have done my research but it has made me even more confused. I don't have money to buy a small bike to learn on and then upgrade later on. I'd rather purchase a cheap 600 and ride the heck out of it.

its not going to be easy but its possible. shave the seat on whatever you get and learn to move the bike around without having both feet on the ground and you could. Wear boots with big soles for that extra inch or so too

BTW most of the learner type bikes can be bought used and sold for the same amount within a couple of months so you probably wouldn't really lose out on anything and even if you do it will be a couple of hundred bucks

You can get lowering links to drop the rear end and then lower the forks on the front. Just be carefull when messing with the suspension.

Fucker bitch gay ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyhow, buy adjustable lowering links for the rear and u lower the front. Keep in mind when u adjust the suspension, u have to cut the kickstand or buy an adjustable kickstand. Your suspension sucks, cant knee drag and watch out for the bumps in the road/speed bumps, your lower fairing will drag. A plus, u LAUNCH when u take off. Down side is it's harder to wheelie because the forks are somewhat compressed.

Shaving the seat gives u like 1/2"-1" if u are lucky, but the downside is your ass will hurt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, it handles a little different because the forks are compressed. Slow??? What's that?? U have to remember also everything is lower, the footpegs are lower too so they drag when u lean too much over. What kind of bike are your trying to get??

I dont know..still doing my research. whatever has a low seat height the better. but the lowest I have found is 26 or 28 inches. I don't want anything too old but then again I can't be too picky because im bound to drop it. a late 90s zx-6 looks good.

Dont worry about the seat height, just lower the bike. I had a Ninja 250 at one time-the only bike that I didnt have to lower . Average seat height is about 32". Is this your first bike?
