Is this a local car? Saw it yesterday on Langley AFB, but he was going the opposite direction so I couldn't tell what year, whether it was turbo, etc. Really nice looking though - I've always wondered what the dual racing stripes would look like on a MkIV (like the Shelbys and Vipers).

 

Yeah he's local. I met him at the Mid-Atlantic meet a couple months back. It's a TT...pretty quiet guy, but cool.

 

hello, that was me, thanks I "try" to keep the car clean, and yeah it is a TT, 94. If it was around 4 pm, I was on my way to my last class there in langley. I assume you werent driving your car otherwise I wouldve spotted it right away. the racing stripes were done by the previous owner, but soon will have a fresh look, many things ,among them these beauties on 18" and silver , not into chrome for wheels

 

I am assuming you sold the supra already huh? Merf , did it stay local? what is the new ride now?

 

Hey! Yea, I was in my beater. Are you going to repaint it? I like the stripes. Nice choice on wheels too. I've always like 7 spokes and you are right about chrome. Too much maintenance and too heavy. I road race and autocross, so chromies would have to be an "extra" set and I don't have that kind of $$ laying around. Polished or painted is the way to go.

hey there intense2jz, what is going on. I talked to wang from Nova last weekend at a IS300 meet in MD, he couldnt make it to the supra meet on saturday, neither could I, he has a really nice silver MKIV with TS hood, he said he knows you, cool guy. Is your TRD hooded supra hybernating already, I've only seen it that one time.

 

I might've seen you before, but I rarely take 64 to work, traffic sucks going to indian river at that time
