Anyone here hit Nations on Friday nights? Just started goin recently and found it a lot of fun -- end up sore as hell the next day. Glow stickin is crazy fun..

If you want to know who's going to be there and when, get on the mailing list. Word of warning though: they send out a lot of emails.

 

Don't forget the nitrogen parties. I love the foam parties too.

 

whats a nitrogen party?

 

It's when they spray cold nitrogen into the whole place. The nitrogen is dumped from the top vents and within 30 seconds, the whole place is full of what seems like fog, but very cool to the touch...awesome if you are sweating from dancing like crazy. The nitrogen gets so thick that you can't see the person you are dancing next to. You look around and it seems like it's just you in the middle of this fog, you can't see the floor, the people, the dj, anybody. Then at the peak of the song playing, they turn on these big vacuums and suck up all the nitrogen. In an instant, you are back in buzz with everyone, it's wild.

 

Dunno if it's that list or another list I'm on -- but get a monthly email or so with who's playing when. Usually doesn't matter who it is -- Fri nights are almost always fun there I've found!

Do they do Nitrogen parties/Foam Parties in the winter? Every time i've been recently the deck has been closed.
