Same thing that happens to everyone else. You miss your court dat, they issue a warrant for your arrest.

 

Yep..and then even if you show up the next day to court, they will have you handcuffed and ankle-cuffed and placed in detention until the last case of the day for your judge.

It was too funny to see the face of my best friend when they gave him my personal belongings in a ziploc bag.

dun worry tri. dont feel bad. im going to the slammer after the 22nd also.. driving on suspended.

 

I got a reckless on 495 (85 in a 55) and didn't show up and just got a guilty in absintee ($450 fine). But if the judge wants to, he WILL issue a bench warrant and the police WILL come find you. Trust me, I missed a driving on suspended case and the cops came and got me like 5 days later. Plus if they do that it's another failure to appear charge on top of your reckless, and with failure to appear the magistrate will set your bail damn high or not set a bail at all (sit in jail until your next court date). Look that shit up http://www.courts.state.va.us/. and don't worry there are plenty of skinny asian kids in jail. at least in direct supervision.
