I am looking into throttle body's and I was wondering if the biggest one is the best...or how does that work. would I have to increase my fuel intake....any ideas? also..whats a good throttle body to go with?
You don't want to go too big or you'll lose intake velocity, and there is a such thing as having too much ultimate flow for your engine. Whatever you do, make sure that you port match the TB to the intake manifold, because that change in diameter can cause all sorts of bad turbulence and flow problems..
What engine do you have, and what mods do you have done???

Match your parts. The big mistake everyone makes is to go with the biggest or most expensive part. You will see it at the track. Some kid head down wondering how this guy just beat him with a near stock combo. A giant tb on a near stock engine will cost you horse power. However, few have the cash to buy everything at once. Make a plan on where you want to end up when the build is finished. A larger tb or intake may cost some hp now but if a turbo or supercharger in a year or two is your plan, you will be glad you paid for it just once. Do you want to 1/4 mile? ,Auto cross? ,Drift? or a bit of everything. Plenty of tried and true Combo's out there.
