by the way you 225hp rating is wrong..... ill have my budy link me the sight we looked it up at his house a 86 mustang 5.0 ho only made 205hp ... mater of fact the 4cl turbo only made 215 ... haha kind of puts the 5.0 to shame cus it was only 140ci
86 mustang? I said the 87-93 mustang, cuz the 86 did not have the multiport fuel injection like the 87-93, buts its ok if you cant read what I said, Id expect that. The 4 cyl turbo coupe made 190 hp in 1988 with a T5 transmission, and the a4ld transmission car made 150 hp, so Im not sure where 215 came from. Also I own a Turbo Coupe, so again I know about the 2.3 Turbo motors. And those 5.0 HO came in 86-92 Lincoln LSC Mark VII's, not the town cars. In 89 the mustangs went to mass air set up, but the mark VII's stayed speed density till 92. Just for the record, a motor consists of more than a block, a crank, and rods, which is what your talkin bout. Youve gotta look at the heads, cam, intake, type of induction, etc. Thank you drive through....

Oh yeah, and a "347w", is a stroked 302. The only difference from the 302s and the 351s block is that it has larger mains for the crank, otherwise the block looks the same. They use the same heads, cam, and firing order. One reason they use the W in 351 windsor is to distinguish it from the 351 cleveland, which are two totally different motors.

um a 347w is not a stroked 302 its a destroked 351w henc forth the reason for the w why would some one call a stroked 302 a 347w..... dont make sence cus the 302 was never made as a w but you think you know it all so hey what ever bro ill see you at the track this summer...... you wont miss me and my budy maybe he will give you a pice of that 347w....

Thumbs down You are a jack ass.

The 302 and the 5.0 HO do have the same block and geometry. There are bigger diffrences though. The firing order is the same as a 351 W (jack ass) Not a normal 302. The water pump from a 302 will bot line up properly on a HO and vice versa. The 302 water pump is heavy as shit and is steel while the ho is aluminum and the shaft is lower. The HO does not have a place for a mechanical fuel pump the 302 does. IF you dont belive me i can show you a HO in my garage, A 302 in my garage and a 302 in my car( With a transmission pouring out fluid at that.)
