The main problem is that you guys need to police these meets yourselves and throw people out who do stupid shit. When I go to F-body meets, we do exactly that after first warning the person.

I think half the people show up thinking its a street race, if you want to street race..GREAT! There are places for that, I know of quite a few in this area where cops don't bother you at all. But thats NOT what these meets are for. Hell a lot of us fbody guys have tons of spots, but we don't blow up our meeting area with stupid stuff attracting unwanted attention.

Until you guys start policing these meets, you will always have problems.

Like I said before, I just find it funny that I go to other meets and they don't have these problems. I go to raves and they don't have these problems. Stupid people exist at both and their delt with accordingly. Why can't you guys do the same? Is it a matter of not having enough balls to tell someone to stop or what?

 

From what I saw, granted it was only 1 DragVA meet, there is no one in charge. There is also no agenda (actual meets tend to have something...recent goings on, getting dinner, shooting pool, news about upcoming events, as well as checking out the cars).

 

Honestly I say we keep it at the FFX center but have a couple people at the entrances to the garage and they can police who comes in and whoever comes in will be told by these guys "hey if you act up even once, your out of here and the people up their have full permission to kick your ass, do you accept the terms?"
that would be an idea but who to police would be the question.

 

I wouldn't mind policing such events, just becuase im sick and tired of hearing about these things shut down and I'd really like to give some of these punk kids a peice of my mind. Besides I can chase them down with my trans am if they try to run. I will leave the cut out open too, so they will be defened by the sound of open headers.

I've also been security at various protests before and a couple feild parties (raves). So its not really new to me and I know how to deal with people.

 

police and security..haha, u guys make me giggle. to the window, to the wall! dragva will always be dragva. u can't have a dragva meet where there will never be "ricers". its already been established, u can't change it. dragva is too big! quit wasting ur times and just go to rockville.

 

I'm suggesting that the meets should have an Entrance...like what LBIzBoy said
but not in FFX center....the place is small...maybe somewhere else.

 

ffx center is fine...how big are u expecting a meet to be? sounds like u guys want more cars...ricers?! and entrance hahahaha...y not jus stick a big dragva banner near it have some security guy up front.

 

look.. all you gotta do is do it fast and furious style.. have the meets in a secluded/hidden area that's AWAY FROM PUBLIC VIEW AND AREA.. without a fast food restaurant there will be no trash left on the floor... away from public restaurants, housing apartments/complexes ='s no complaints.. and last but not least, purely invite

but of course this plan will only work for a while and then there will be a leak somewhere and the cops will find out and bust us and ticket us for every mod we have..

it's juss too hard to organize these big meets.. no one will allow dragva to be anywhere.. so i say fug it and find an old abandoned warehouse and park it there hahaha.. (am i rice yet?)
