My honest advice is to sell the car. I had a 5G Accord before. It licked balls, and more. Sell it and buy a better platform to begin with.

Haha oops, I didn't read the budget part. Yeah, if you don't have much of a budget, just keep it stock.

4 door accord...

All I would do is tint it, lower it, and throw on some nice rims and a stereo system. Give it the luxurious qualities that Honda failed to add.

Save it until after college and use it as your DD, then buy a sports car if you want one.

agree'd if you can afford to lower it and tint windows just do that, give a better cleaner look. perfomance wise... you dont have the kinda cash it would take. honestly if you want to mod a car, buy a differen't with easier options we aren't dissing your accord, but they weren't made to be mod'd really =/ good luck with it bro keep fighting the good fight!

yeah, best thing for a 5th Gen is an h22 swap, you all are still obd1 so its legal for you lol. There was a guy on here a few days ago selling his 5th Gen accord, he had an extra h22 engine just laying around he was going to sell with the car. You'd still need a new tranny, but you can ask him what he'd take for the motor.

5th Gen with an h22 should be a consistent mid-high 14 second car with a decent driver, nothing fabulous but it'd get you from point A to point B a little quicker
