As you can see, I'm clearly comparing power and saying that's why the M3 is better.

You then said this brilliant piece:

I stated nimble was a relative term and brought up the S2k.

I also said this, which clearly states that the M3 is better in open, high-speed courses. So how about you shut the fuck up with your dumbass assumptions?

As for my car, why would I drag a MR-S? I was basing it on other's cars with the same turbo kit and no other mods, which slowest time was a 13.7 The fastest I've seen was a 13.3. But I guess you're going to say since I haven't tracked my car, despite everybody having no problems grabbing 13s, mine must be an odd ball and only grabs 14s.
He was asking based on your ability to drive your car. For example, people with my setup have run in the high 12s with a good driver and decent tires. You asked what I personally ran. If I knew that were just using other people's examples as to what the car could run, then yes, my car runs high 12s-low 13s.

Ah, then I may be a poor driver, but I think I can pull a 2.2 60', which is what the 13.7 was.

Well, if Tim is trapping 105mph. He certainly has the power to go 13.0s, maybe faster. Here is the time slip of a 240 with similar mods to Tim's running 13.01 @ 105
Take it to the street and post the video

On topic: for the 240 to beat a stock M3, add:
S15 turbo, S15 injectors, ECU tune = $1500 est.
Strut bars, Sway bars, tc rods, poly bushings = $1000 est.
235/255 high perf. summer tires = $700 est

So, about $3k

Really? What kind of tires do you have? LSD? I did notice you got an obscenely high trap for a 14. What was your 60'?

J30 vlsd and Michelin Pilot HX tires. Best 60' is 2.48, but I missed 3rd.

That would be in addition to the cost of the motor, the coilover setup and a decent set of wheels on which to put the tires.

So you havent run. Then my comment of a 14.0 beating you still stands. When you go to the track and get a real time, then talk shit about how fast your car is. Otherwise, just keep your mouth shut.

Tim ran a 14.1@105. His car is capeable of 13's easily, did he hit them? No.

I've gone down the track about 25 times in this car. I just need better damned tires than the ones I was running on. That and I finally learned how to feather my clutch correctly. This may seem basic, but ask anyone who's ever driven my car how forgiving my clutch is.
