a lot of people can get away with a 1" drop without the camber kit.. but if i were you i'd get it anyway, better safe than sorry.. you definitely will need shocks though.. a lot of DSM guys that lower their car on the stock shocks blow them really quick.. my advice would be to try to find someone else with a lowerd DSM and see if they needed them.

Even if you dont need the camber kit an extra $100 ios worth getting it becuase there could be a very slight camber that you cant see. I recommend you car all new shocks/struts as well becuase they usually do blow out pretty fast.

I lowered my 96 eclipse w/eibach sportlines and Tokico blues, supposed to be lowered 1.6, but I can tell it has settled some more, little less then 2finger gap. So far, I just put the cam kit on the rear, the neg. cam was more evident there then in the front.

I have sportlines and illuminas on my 99 gsx. I didnt have a huge camber problem, but I installed the ingalls adjustable kit on all 4 corners anyway. DO NOT BE CHEAP WHEN IT COMES TO SUSPENSION. Do it right the first time. Get it alligned at a good shop that knows how to adjust a camber kit and has the proper equipment. Strut tower bars front and rear are also a really good idea. I would change out the rubber suspension bushings too, I wasnt going to change mine, but when I looked at how beat up they were, I'm glad that I did.

i got a friend that did sportlines and tokicos, he has a little camber porblem in the back but not even that bad. If you got the $$ to get camber kits why not get them though.
