turbo timers are shit.. why do you need it??? is it really that hard for you to sit in your car for 2 minutes to let the turbo cool down after a HIGH boost run??? if you are just driving around town you dont need it.. if you take a 5 minute drive after you run it cools the turbo enough.. why waste money you could buy something to help you go faster with???

You obviously drive a non-turbocharged car because for one it does help the engine and two it gets old having to sit in your car after driving around. You can set a turbo timer to run the car for a percentage time. Meaning the longer you drive the longer the car runs by the turbo timer after you get out. I have a friend that goes to Va Tech and his ran about 10 minutes after the long haul to Tech from Va beach.

a good synthetic oil wont coke anyways. if i was considering buying a turbo timer, i'd save myself $100 and have the common decency to let my car cool off for a few minutes after running it hard... instead of spending money on something i can do myself for free.

Or drive slow for a bit and save your money.

it doesnt matter if youre running your car hard or not, you should still let it sit running for a few minutes after you drive it so the oil can drain out and not sit in the turbo coking up with heat. turbo timer is a good investment

thats the thing though. a good synthetic will not coke. paying $100 for something that does nothing but lets your car stay on for a minute or two just doesnt make sense to me... but then again youre talking to the guy that is grinding off every layer of his hood except for the skin instead of paying for carbon fiber

$100 turbo timer is for convenience, like power windows and power seats and power locks, you dont need them, but it makes life easier.
