I had a blue VW do a ricer flyby on my right as 581 turns 3 lanes this morning. Just wondering if any one knew the car. It's a GTI, dunno what year. Front and rear emblems are painted flat black and it has gunmetal wheels on it. Normally i would'nt post about a flyby because quite frankly, it happens to me ALL THE TIME! But, this was'nt like 99.9999% of the multi colored shitcans bellowing smoke as they try and pass me at 60 mph. It actually looked pretty clean. Of course i know nothing of VW so it could be a pile of shit? Oh well, figured i'd post about my first VW flyby which is probably only because i havnt ran into Adam on the highway yet, lol.

 

Could be Amanda.. but she's a whore. Sounds like the car except it didn't have dark wheels last time I saw the car, but things change.

Oh, and I don't do fly-by's like that. I may pass people going really fast but not to do a fly-by or anything like that... and if I want to mess with someone, I will just taunt them until they get pissed off and take off usually. Ask Richard. He took off before I had a chance to get side by side though. He got tired of me messing with him...... LOL!

I'm not THAT much of an asshole though. All in fun.

What makes a car look fast? Did it have a carbon fiber hood on it? 20th A.E. GTI? You said it was blue, so unless it was an R32 or had an aftermarket paint job, (assuming it was Jazz Blue), then it was a 20th Anniversary.... not many around here. In fact, there is only one other than I know of. This one has 35% tint and a carbon fiber hood that jumps out at you.. aftermarket grille, Oettinger wheels, T-61 turbo.. you know, the basic. lol..

BTW, shouldn't everything look fast in a Type R?

 

no, when the person got on it to show off to me it did'nt really go anywhere fast... i did'nt get a good look at the front so i dunno if it has a cf hood or not. I dunno what jazz blue is but it was close to the blue that came on the 99-00 civic Si's. And no, in a Type R everything else looks slow..
