jacking up car
I'm super safe with mine. like the above, jackstands, a good jack, and a big block of wood just in case. Oh, and the wheel stops.
In most cases, If i'm working under my car, i'll go to the hobby shop on base and rent out a frame lift for $2.50 and hour (includes all tools).

go to walmart and get some jackstands. you can get a pair of 2ton jackstands for about 10 bucks. you can also get a 2ton jack with wheel blocks for about 20 bucks. they're both made by Mack (the people that make the big ass trucks). good quality. saw them there the other day.
dude com on just put some jack stands underneath it, i f u want u can put the wood blocks behind the back tires, but my car has been on jackstands all week, cause i was mounthin new studs, u will be ok!! u have a del sol??
