Ok ill start this by telling you guys that im not "in the know" about clubs, what ones are good or arent ect. My girlfriends cousin is in town and she was telling us about the ones in london being pretty sweet. she wanted to see some american ones, the gf and i had both heard people say that nation was the club to goto in dc and was much better then anything in richmond. I asked a few friends and they all said the same thing. we decided to take a little trip up there this weekend to check it out. We get there a little early and the cover was 1/2 price witch was cool (8 bucks) fair enough. we get inside it looks pretty typical they had the main club closed off and had 2 bars and a dance floor in this area. the music was good the sound system was awesome and the alcohol was excellent. it wasint until we noticed it was becoming a major sausage fest we started to get concerned. of the people there the 2 women with us, and 3 others were all we saw then we realized one of the other girls had an adams apple *gah* fucking shemale. then we started noticing dudes.. dancing with dudes... then some were grinding, spanking eachother uhhhh yeah wtf. so maybe were early and all the faggots just come out early to get it on right? ok wel just think that for now. so they open the rest of the place up and i was pretty big but nothing all that impressive IMO but again the sound system was great and the dj was really moving the place problem was it was a place full of fucking faggots. this place had dudes with no shirts on bumping, grinding, dry humping. kissing, making out allover the godamn place. there were a handful of chics but for the most part they may as well have been dudes as well. hell the place had mens and womens bathrooms but there were more dudes in the womens restroom then chics apperantly. so enough was enough and we left. Just figured is share this story. maybe we were ther eon the wrong night or maybe the dj playing was one loved by queers or some shit but next time someone tells me "nation rocks" im covering my asshole.

I dont have a problem with gay people or whatever. thats all fine and good i got plenty of gay friends. I just dont need to see that shit

 

That place has great music and being the only straight male there has definite advantages when picking up the girls brought there by their lesbian or gay friends. Straight women feel much more comfortable going to a "gay" club because they don't have to worry about the sausage fest of cheesy pickup lines. Keep your mind and eyes open, you'll see the benefit of picking up straight women in gay clubs.

I dont really care about the clubs in VA anyway, I much rather go to the clubs out of state

 

I have exhausted myself in clubs being here and mainly when I lived in Northern Va. Been to alot of clubs/bars in NoVa/Fredericksburg/DC/Georgetown/MD. Now bars suit me better.

I thought david went to Nations in DC, I was like damn thats a drive.

I don't have a problem going to a predominantly gay club. I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality not to have to make gay jokes or be afraid of people that are attracted to different lifestyles than my own.

Straight women in gay bars are easy to talk to because they don't have their normal meat market guard up. Those who have met me in person know that I love the ladies and have dated more than just a few.
