Stroking it has nothing to do with the rods like nic said. For example, a 350 lt1 uses a 3.50" stroke crank and 5.7" rod with a 4.0" piston to get 350 cid. A 381 stroker uses a 3.75" stroke with eihter a 5.7", 5.85", or 6" rod (depending on what piston deck height you want to run) with the standard 4" bore. You really need to know what you want to do before you start pulling the engine just to throw a longer rod in it. A longer rod is not always a good thing.

haha, i dunno about that. my car should be a full second faster in the 1/4 with the setup i want.

Word, it's all about the magical crank angles and stroke.

Just wondering if u be downtown and talked to my boy with the white turbo talon?? He can tell u alot to make that gsx fly. He ran like a mid to low 12 with the talon.
