Hey I got a 95 civic lx, just did the brakes (front) and they are squeeking like crazy, i got wagner premium pads. What can I do to limit or not the noise completely?
did you install the thin metal 'anti-squeal' plates from the old pads onto the new ones? Alos, did you use the anti-squeal lub that came with the new pads? The noise that you are hearing is the pads vibrating on the caliper.

New pads did not come with any lube or shims (ani-squeal plates). So should i just lube it up with something? They usually only squeal when hot. let me know guys.
You need to get a grinder and bevel teh edge of the pads. Those anti-squeal pads dont do a fucking thing. The lube helps as long as its sticky and makes the pad stick to the piston on the caliper. I highly recommend some stuff called "Brake Quiet", it comes in an aerosol can. Shit works great.

But if the pad is new i shouldn't have to grind it it should be ok. I will take a look at the pads soon, thanks for your help.
