Velocity motorcycles in Richmond. They have a good mix of vintage and newer models. also Moto Europa in Richmond sells used bikes, and new Ducati Superbikes.

What's the mileage Zero? Got service records? My brother is looking for a 600 or 750 sportbike and that's about what he has to spend...as soon as his Katana is sold.

Anyone looking for a '01 (?) Katana 750 with really low mileage (I think only 5-6,000), he wants $3,500 for it. It's charcoal grey, like new condition, completely stock. It's a really nice bike. He just decided he wanted something more sport oriented.

Me? It's got 83xx miles on it but I'm going to continue riding it when the weather is nice until it belongs to someone else, you know? I will also continue to do all maitenence until it's sold. It will get a fresh oil change yet again if I ride again this weekend. I've changed the oil every 1500 miles since I've owned it... I also plan to lube the chain up again. It's a great bike!

What year is it? Stock? Any other details? Ever been down? And where are you located? I think he's putting the Kat for sale this weekend. If he ends up selling it quickly, I'm sure he'll be calling you. The Kat is a nice bike in perfect shape...but bad time to try and sell, as I'm sure you've seen!

So, anyone looking for a Kat 750?

I've got a classified post up for the bike if you want to check that out.. It might tell you more about the bike than I could just off the top of my head right now.... however, to answer your direct question, no--it hasn't been down. There is an itty bitty spot of rash on the left fairing where the previous owner had the bike fall over apparently in his driveway but you would never notice it unless you're right up on it a matter of a few inches away.. I'll try to take more detailed pictures of that, but it's really nothing. It's never been laid down in the manner that I think you're asking. Great bike! I've never had more fun riding a motorcycle before... and it's by far the most comfortable sport bike I've been on, but at the same time it still got that aggressive and sporty feel. It's a 2001, so 8xxx miles is still considered to be pretty low mileage for the year. I've done lots of maitenence on it since I purchased it. It recently got a new front tire, a new clutch cable, oil change, brakes flushed, chain lubed, and it's had a once over by my tech guy to make sure it didn't need anything. Runs and rides great!
