1. Imports are 1/4 the price of most us v8s

2. you can mod them the way you want to. could blow 60k on a us v8 orrrr get a 6-21k import and use the rest of the cash to make the car the way you want to. and still save in the long run, and have no problem taking 90% of the v8s on the road.

3. styling on us cars is jst crap.. look what they did do the Eclipse when mitsu gave it over to dodge.. poor thing went from a nice 2g to a pos 3g no one even calls an eclipse anymore.

4. ever seen the cost of auto ins on those pos? ins alone is more then most import cars... i pay $400ish for 6months...on a 98 AWD turbo car.

5. if we didnt mod our own cars we'd pull up to a stoplight and be the same as every other dumbshit parked around us, and there would be no car shows, shops, meets, etc.. cause who cares about checking out ur car..when mine is the same damn thing?

exactly. it proves how much of a dick he is. wow he has a quick american car. i would rather see a import with less displacement beat up on a V8 any day. that isnt just because i own an import, its the fact of crediability. its quite simple to make a domestic pretty quick, it takes knowledge and work to make a import pretty quick. dont get me wrong, im not basis, my dream car is a 03 cobra so its not the fact of what i drive. its the attitude i have seen with almost every domestic car driver i have encountered.

i assume youre inferring that i lied about racing MP5, i did no such thing. when we raced, we both had our advantages and disadvantages. my disadvantage was not being in the powerband. but, from a stop...there is no disadvantage. its heads up. but that cant happen right now, and even when i can happen, it wont matter. my car is faster now, and will be faster later, and he said when his gets back together it wont be as fast...so it wont really matter. but, he wants to goto the track and race, so we will.
