I, personally, think you should get a used bike if it's going to be your first. I'm not one of those people who say you shouldn't start on a 600cc because I don't see what the big deal is if you have any self control and common sense, but why not get a used bike in case it falls over or you drop it.. or whatever the case is.. it's not a brand new bike that cost you $8k. You know?

you must not have sold your bike via ebay but i could have sworn that the aution has ended with a winning buyer.

Happened to me twice.. with sunglasses, and my motorcycle. I was kind of pissed off when I got an invoice two days ago for $100 worth of selling fees and final value fees and neither of them actually sold.... and I had already reported as non-paying bidders. I don't know why someone would bid $4000 on a motorcycle if they don't have any money. You know?

I have owned/ridden the others and wouldn't buy anything else anymore, unless I go Italian or Brittish.

damn man sorry to hear about that i normally check the buyers feedback rating before i let them get deep into biding...... on another note everbody has there own theroy on which brand is better i say just go check them all out and view the stats. i love my 05 636 to death would have it no other way.
