I have no clue as to what it could actually be, but I don't feel that there's a need for a walk-in/sit-down resturant in a food court, especially a place like Lynnhaven. I think MacArthur is perfectly fine, since they're a higher class mall. Lynnhaven is really trying to compete against that now. There's plenty of resturants, outside of Lynnhaven on the ring road. Leave Luca's and AC alone!
It's a damned shame that they both have to go. They're like the only places that I go when I go to Lynnhaven any more.

i remember being so broke when i was wayyy younger that i'd buy the token specials just to turn around and sell them so i could play for 'free' or make some money. I was one of those that could be in there for hours on SF too.

This really stinks, although I haven't been in Aladdin's castle in years everytime I walked by it I always thought about when I was a younger kid going to the mall EVERY friday afternoon after school going to the arcade with $5. Played MK3, ridge racer, and towards the later years I played Marvel vs. Capcom.
It's so funny that they are closing because I was eating luca pizza and telling my friend "Aladdin's castle and luca pizza have been in the same spot as long as I can remember"

I was really close woth the one of the guys that worked there. One of my good friends.
Well Everyones heard about how they closed yah thats sad.
But whats worse are those who worked At Alladins castle and Luca no longer have jobs yes sad but true. Althogh Alex, the owner of luca may give them a job at another loca. technically they were laid off.
As for the namco CS associates, they have no jobs becuase the only other namco arcade in this area would be Greenbrier mall, but staffing the 4 from lynnhaven in addition to the 5 already at GB mall, there would be a serious over staffing/under hour problem.
We were all pissed about it saturday.
WHats fuck up is that the mall fucked them over by refusing and not allowing them to renew theier lease so that LYNN mall could use that space to lease/sell it to a bigger/higher payer.
I forgot what the store was going to be but i believe it will take up both spaces.
Out of all the saddness there is some light.
For those who do enjoy the arcade every now and then such as myself, there are rumor about opening a funscape where Lord and taylors used to be, just a little information for those who care.
