HOW DO I GET MY ROTOR OFF OF MY ACCORD
has anyone else had the trouble of getting there rotor off? my car is a 1995 accord ex. i have taken everything off that is suppossed to come off and the rotor will not come off... ANY IDEAS?????
have you hit it with a hammer or mallet?
in all seriousness if your going to replace your rotors then just wack the shit out of it a few times and it should come off. if not, use lots of wd40 or liquid wrench...and then keep hitting it.

yep, just take an old rubber mallet/hammer and smack the shit out of it a few times, it should comes lose after that. If your going to use a hammer, you might want to put some towel between the hammer and rotor as a bit of a barrier...unless your just replacing the rotors completely, than to hell with them.

well that helps. there is two screws on the face of the rotor behind the wheel. you should see them when you pull the wheel off.
Dont hit the rotor with a hammer. On the bottom of the rotor shaft there is a small seal if you hit the shaft enough you will break that seal and it will cause oil to leak into your ditrib.
