It helps out with a few more ponies, but more importantly it allows the engine to breathe better at high rpms. It will zoom on up to redline, as opposed to struggling past 5,000. An s13 auto ecu is nice too, no speed limiter and a higher rev limiter

Yeah I think Spin was quoted a few thousand dollars for a build just to get around 180'ish whp.

the higher compression does not change the engines' flow potential.

I was refering to the exhaust cam swap.

248 Exhaust cam on the intake, 4 teeth counter clockwise. (91-93)
232 Exhaust cam on the exhaust, straight up (95+)
