i've already got 8 titanium plates and 34 screws holding my head together.... i think i'll wear my helmet.

It costs money to clean up brains and entrails. If there were no helmet laws then the brain and entrail clean-ups would go through the roof, at least until the majority of the idiots riding without helmets got killed off. It might even out after than but it would cost a FORTUNE in the meantime.

If you don't want to wear a helmet, then don't wear one, you ARE given the option, I hope you know that.. It doesn't go without possible punishment (ticket/serious injury/death), but its your choice..

Noone is holding a gun to your head. If you are such a badass to not need a helmet, then what is a measly little fine, right?
